Senior Financial Analyst
Pharm-Olam International seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to work at our global headquarters in Houston. This is a full-time, office-based position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting and coordinating monthly consolidation of international entitites
- Assist in the planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting process including the analysis of trends and significant deviations
- Monitor and evaluate the financial effectiveness of operations
- Assist in revenue and cost recognition using percentage of completion accounting ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Participate in project and contract reviews
- Provide analysis of project status and variances
- Assume a leadership role of ongoing efforts/processes to analyze and evaluate performance and profitability
- Perform complex reconciliations for both general ledger and projects with proficiency
- Assist in development of corporate finance policies and procedures and evaluate compliance
- Liaise with foreign offices to ensure effective intercompany accounting processes
- Special projects as required
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Deltek experience a plus
- Minimum of 10 years related experience
- Solid financial reporting, modeling, and strategic planning experience
- Previous project analysis and budget development experience
